Decades of winter ski trips, cozy family gatherings, and the warmth of shared experiences.
SnoAway holds a lot of cherished memories and significance for many families and their friends. The home, established in 1978, became a beloved retreat after Gary, Janice, Bill, and Chris Parker caught the ski fever during a trip to Vail in 1976. This led them to purchase a half-acre lot in Breckenridge, where they built SnoAway.
Over the years, SnoAway has been a gathering place for friends and family, embodying the spirit of sharing and togetherness. As the home transitions to the new stewardship of Gary and Janice's youngest daughter, Shanda Hurla, and her husband Joe, it's poised to continue being a cherished family retreat, carrying on the tradition of hospitality and warmth set by its original owners.
This passing down of the home to the next generation is a beautiful way to preserve family history and memories while allowing new memories to be created. Shanda and Joe are committed to upholding the legacy of SnoAway, ensuring that it remains a special place for their family and friends in the beautiful setting of Breckenridge.
